TETINE - TURKISH BATH (SONAR / INSTITUTO TOMIE OHTAKE, SAO PAULO 2004

Between 2003 & 2004 we filmed & talked to 16 gorgeous men in  realtime for a project called Turkish Bath. We ended up with more than 16 hours of footage & all sorts of conversations on various aspects of masculinity. Turkish Bath was only exhibited twice - first time in Sao Paulo as part of Sonar at Instituto Tomie Ohtake, thanks to Lucas Bambozzi who was man enough to allow us to do it. We also did a reconfigured version at Monkeytown in New York in 2006. We tried to show it in London several times but the project was always turned down or censored due to male frontal nudity.
