The 4th World / An Animal With The Demand To Make Choices - a film by Bruno Verner & Eliete Mejorado 51 min, UK/US/Brasil 2015
This is Tetine's piece "THE 4TH WORLD / An Animal With The Demand To Make Choices" - a 50 min experimental eco-philosophical sci-fi on the survivors of a dystopian fourth-world dominated by bugs, cockroaches and other pests.
If you missed it when it was shown last year in Sao Paulo, here's a chance to watch it in its entirety. The 4th World was originally exhibited and performed live at the festival ON_OFF at Itau Cultural.
The film juxtaposes found and original footage with improvisational performances, original electronic music and spoken word moments. It also celebrates our personas as errant insects over a precarious post-global / post-internet perpetual new order.
For possible future (mental and environmental) ecologies and other forms of existential and political contamination.
