Tetine are in Brazil to perform a brand new score for Brazilian 80's 'funk cult  classic' RIO BABILONIA by Neville de Almeida.
The performance takes place at the theatre of SESC SANTO AMARO in Sao Paulo & is part of the project Alem CINEMA - a huge  retrospective of the works of filmmaker / artist Neville D'Almeida.

Expect to see & hear - the uncut version of RIO BABILONIA - with new music for piano, electronics, drum machine, manipulated voices, bass guitars & vocals.

RIO BABILONIA is a crazy saga of power, corruption, lies, cocaine, sex, black beans, gringas & music exposing the politics, politicians & the mechanisms of Rio's social elite of the early 80's starring Christiane Torloni, Pedro Aguinaga, Jardel Filho, Paula Vila├ža &
Denise Dumont.
Apart from this Tetine are equally delighted to be back in Santo Amaro after so long. We had the pleasure to curate a programme for MUNDAO - the first project/festival to take place at SESC Santo Amaro exactly 14 years ago with Diamanda Galas, Tetine, Scanner, Cibo Matto & Drugstore all performing for free for thousands of people in the area!
